Background:

I started spending time with computers in the early 90s when I was working at my mom's little company after school and during half terms. I was looking after a single server, a dozen windows clients and implementing a central internet gateway later. I studied Computer Science later. In England I was working in a global Infrastructure team that is setting strategy and standards for an environment with 30.000 users in 180 locations spread across 80 countries on all continents. I got a strong development background, especially around web-based applications. Around the NSLU2, Linux, c/c++ etc I currently spend some time catching up and documenting things that work for me, so that others can follow ...
