Last known status of my slugs

Running 3 Slugs running OpenSlug (now that Optware for SlugOS/BE exists).

Will de-underclock soon.

Currently in process of getting one mastered as a wifi storage & media player.

Control for headless devices to be determined:

• web based (control & feedback)
• console (control & feedback)
• Bluetooth (via phone - control & feedback)
• IrDA?
• Wifi USB (using GigaFast? USB WF748?-CUI (has zd1211b chip)
• Wireless USB mouse/presentation control

Feedback for headless devices to be determined:

• Text To Speech (Festival)
• Simple Audio cues (WAV playback) to indicate navigation location. For example:
  • Artists | Albums | Random.
  • Artist selected.
  • 0..9,A..C,D..F,...,W..Z.
  • Back selected.
  • Artists | Albums | Random.
  • Random selected.
  • Playing Random.

Slug Goals

2 are in process of becoming automobile wifi storage (personal media content & playback) with rsyncing of scheduled content when in proximity of homebase/parent

The remaining Slug will become either parent/master of the twins, a tote-able (making them triplets) or a nice quiet server of other sorts at home.
