It seems like Crosstool-native requires about >100 MB of diskspace. This could be a bit much for some conf-partitions. One solution seems to be to synlink the /opt/armeb directory to the data-partition. Make sure you do this before you install the package.

 mkdir /share/hdd/data/armeb
 ln -s /share/hdd/data/armeb/ /opt/armeb
