The port is not enabled in any of the kernels but there appears to be support for it in the http://www.linux-usb.org/gadget/ Linux-USB Gadget API. At the current, it has not been tested so may or may not work.

Device side USB port pinout

DescriptionIXP420 ballPCB Location
USB_DNEGBall E21Connected to R130
USB_DPOSBall F20Connected to R131

The IXP420 has a built in USB 1.1 device controller. This is different than the two USB ports provided on the back as it is USB 1.1 and only a slave port. The internal USB controller would be used to connect the NSLU2 to a PC for example. You can not attach other slave devices like hard disks to this internal port.

The port is not enabled in any of the kernels but there appears to be support for it in the http://www.linux-usb.org/gadget/ Linux-USB Gadget API. At the current, it has not been tested so may or may not work.
