FAQ »

UPnP is a protocol suite for autoconfiguration and management of network devices. UPnP includes steps for a device joining and leaving a network, service discovery and service announcement, and control and management of network devices without the need of a central server.

The Slug can, with proper software, work as a UPnP media server. This allows UPnP-capable media players to automatically discover the Slug and use it as a jukebox for music, videos and pictures.
